When Swiss rock climber Xaver Bongard met Will Oxx in 1989, his life changed dramatically. Xaver became Switzerland's first basejumper, opening numerous exit points in Lauterbrunnen and around.
Jonathan was a passionate rock climber and basejumper. On his adventures he wanted to do more than just depend on luck.

This study (published in February 2023) examines all base jump accidents that occurred in Lauterbrunnen between 2007 and 2016.
In December 2023, 467 jumpers participated in an online survey about BASE in Lauterbrunnen and Walenstadt. The results are very interesting and sometimes surprising!
